Allied Pilots Association: “Proud to Stand Shoulder to Shoulder with the Families of Continental Flight 3407”
FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 15, 2018) – In observance of the ninth anniversary of Continental Flight 3407 and on the occasion of the Families of Continental Flight 3407 meeting with lawmakers on Capitol Hill, APA President Capt. Daniel F. Carey issued the following statement:
“As pilots, we know that rigorous training, including real-world cockpit experience, helps keep our passengers safe. That’s why the 15,000 pilots of the Allied Pilots Association are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Families of Continental Flight 3407 in support of strong pilot training standards and against any attempt to water down those standards. We thank the Families of Continental Flight 3407 for lending their voices to this important cause and extend our deepest condolences on this somber occasion.”
