Job Classification: Building Facilities Controller
Immediate Supervisor: Bruce Rushing, Building Services Manager
Hiring Director: Andrea Duff, Executive Director
(Non-Exempt: APSEA)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma
  • 5-7 years of comparable experience
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Proficiency with copying, printing, and mailing equipment, including Riso duplicators, folder, AstroJet inkjet printer, EMC six-station inserter, and postage meter
  • Exercise mature judgement and discretion
  • Provide thoughtful, knowledgeable problem-solving
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Complete assignments correctly and on time with a high level of professionalism

INITIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Building Services Manager (BSM) with building maintenance
  • Work with the BSM to coordinate with outside vendors for repair, maintenance and supply needs
  • Order and stock kitchen supplies
  • Provide support for board meetings/hospitality suite and new-hire dinners (room set up, stock/restock refreshments, and cleanup)
  • Assist with Print Shop copying, printing, addressing, and fulfillment projects
  • Any other duties as directed by the BSM or Executive Director
